| How Safe Is Your Universal Design AUTO-CAB Cabinet?
In a Word - Very!

 |
Your AUTO-CAB's smooth operation insures contents will not move and shift. |
| The safety plate is used for actuating motion up and down. If
the safety plate encounters an obstruction in the down motion,
your AUTO-CAB automatically returns to the up position. |
| Your AUTO-CAB has a tape switch located on the back side of the face frame
and the top of the cabinet box. This is to reduce the possibility
of pinching fingers when your AUTO-CAB is moving up into the resting
position. When the tape switch is accuated, your AUTO-CAB will move
down 3 seconds then stop. To resume motion after the obstruction
is cleared; use either the remote, or safety plate and your AUTO-CAB
will return to the up position. |
| After installation, when first actuated, your AUTO-CAB will go to
the up position. If power is cut off and then restored, your AUTO-CAB
will always go to the up position when first actuated. |
| If your AUTO-CAB is overloaded (100 lbs. total maximum weight of contents)
the over current limit circuit disengages the motor to prevent
damage to the unit. |
|
Your AUTO-CAB's failsafe circuits protect against any possible failures (disconnected plugs, loose or broken wires).
|
Your AUTO-CAB provides the utmost safety with redundant circuitry in the following modes:
UP:
- Proximity sensor for primary stopping.
- Timed distance setting in the event of proximity sensor failure.
- Over current sensor in the event of failure of the proximity sensor
and/or the timer.
DOWN:
- Photo eye for primary stopping.
- Timed distance setting in the event of photo eye failure.
